If God has given you a vision, how do you begin to work it out with Him? Or if you're not sure what your vision is yet, how do you find out? There are a series of steps that God will want to take you through on a journey with Him towards realising your vision and calling.

The steps we've identified with the Lord at WorkplaceMinisters.com are as follows:
First Steps - Ensuring that the workplace person has a strong foundation to the Christian faith as an essential first step.
Learning to Hear God's Voice - Learning how to hear God's voice for our own vision and calling as well as for workplace/marketplace situations. Many Christians are used to hearing God's voice in a Church or devotional setting but find it difficult to translate that in to vision or a workplace environment. And when we think we've heard God's voice, how do we weigh it, interpret its meaning and understand its timing?
Finding Destiny - Understanding the nature of God's Destiny for us and how He works with His people. Then understanding how to find and clarify the vision and destiny that God has given us.
Walking Out The Call - Having understood our vision and destiny, we need to understand the nature of the jourey that God is taking us on and how to discern where we are in that journey at any given point. This will keep us from misinterpreting events and keep us from becoming discouraged when things are not going the way we think they should go. We'll also come to understand that God will want to deal with issues in our lives that hinder our calling - because He is a God of love and restoration.
Understanding Your Field - The Lord will want to bring us to a deeper understanding of what is in the field/land/territory that He has given us and what the implications of that are.
Preparation for Crossing the Jordan - Crossing the Jordan into our promised land is a supernatural event but we need to learn how to not cross over in our own strength.
These steps, and any others the Lord identifies along the way, will enable us to work with Him to inhabit the land that the He has given us and bring forth harvest.

The Lord will only take us as far along the path of our vision as we are ready for, and have the spiritual maturity for, at any given point in time. So we may be brimming with vision and excitement about what God has said, but we need to learn how to move a step at a time with Him and understand what it is that He wants to do at each step.
You may find it helpful to attend a Kingdom Advice Centre, or other organisation with a marketplace focus, that can help you work through the steps that God wants to take you through.
